My mom tells me to put half the amount of spoonfuls than the cups of water. For instance, to use 4 spoonfuls of coffee for 8 cups of water. However it never tastes right when I make it. We use the same spoon every day so that measurement is right. How do you make coffee? Starbucks and Dunkin Donuts is not an option, I want to do it at home.
What did we hear today at the Starbucks? Well as you guessed , the deaths of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson.
Farrah’s was as most were saying ‘more expected’ . Michael’s though was a complete shock.
Many feel he is going to be like Elvis was at death. The conspiracy theories will be forthcoming…

Just curious as to why I find that our 1000 watt "turn table style" microwave heats a cup of coffee (no sugar, milk or creamer) faster than a cup of coffee or room temperature water. Both are heated in the same cup. Must be something to do with the mocules in coffee!
i just bought a red sofa today from ikea. and im planning to buy a coffee table from ikea again. but i'm not sure what kind of coffee table should i buy to match with my red sofa.. HELP!
I love coffee, but the taste of coffee in a jelly bean is horrible. Does anyone know what coffee flavour is in a coffee jelly bean?
Im and american and i hate american coffee. Its way too weak and the quality is terrible. In recent trips to europe i had many great cups of coffee and cant find anythign like it at home. Im looking to spend up to 0.
I don't drink a lot of coffee but I like to have a strong cup with lots of additives (syrup, creamer, whatever I have). What type of coffee maker would be best for me?
When I make coffee using my regular coffee maker, I use one tablespoon ground coffee per two cups of water. I used to work at a gourmet coffee shop and this is how we did it. I just can't get a nice dark cup of coffee using my french press. What is your water to grounds ratio?
I know you are supposed to use fresh coarse ground coffee.
and water just off a boil.
ANYBODY? Please?
I like Cafe Bustelo and other Latin coffees, and I also tend to like heartier European coffees. I need something that can make good coffee, even if i only want one cup at a time (I live alone). And I'd prefer to spend less than a couple hundred dollars.
We drink a lot of fresh ground coffee everyday & have lots of leftover coffee and the grounds. We compost them usually but I've heard somewhere leftover coffee is beneficial to certain plants. Any ideas? Thanks, Julie
